Jason Day Golf Swing

Golf Sage - Friday, December 21, 2012

Jason Day has an outstanding golf swing, and he makes only these 2 mistakes:
1.     At address, Jason’s left foot should be turned out ¼ turn toward the target, not square to the target line.  When the left foot is turned out toward the target, it is easier to drive and clear your hips and knees through impact ahead of your coiled upper body, producing your most powerful strike to the ball.

2.     During the downswing, Jason slightly bends his left arm, and it is not straight at impact.  It is important to keep your left arm straight throughout the backswing and downswing.  This produces the longest possible swing arc and allows you to hit the ball as far as possible.
